Cost-positive feeding

The Lely Cosmix concentrates feeder allows more specific and effective fine-tuning to the needs of the cows. In addition, it provides highly accurate information about the cows' intake of concentrate.

Recognising the cows' needs

The Cosmix feeder dispenses a precise measured additional feed portion to the cow. Cows with a normal milking speed cannot take in more than a maximum of 8 kg of concentres in the milking robot (3 to 4 visits per day). An extra feeder is therefore needed to cover the energy needs of these high production cows.

Several types of concentrates and/or minerals

As standard, the Lely Cosmix  feeder is set to one type of feed. As an option, the feeder can be equipped to suit four types of feed and/or minerals.
