A compact loader wagon for mountainous areas
The range of Lely Tigo loader wagons, although comprising of 26 models, did not appear to be comprehensive enough. Therefore, Lely will be introducing the Lely Tigo 25 ST Classic - the most compact and efficient loader wagon within the Lely Tigo range - during the upcoming Agritechnica exhibition.
Due to its low weight, large track width and low centre of gravity, the Lely Tigo 25 ST Classic loader wagon is ideally suitable for operating on steep slopes. The figure 25 denotes the number of cubic metres of silage that can be loaded with average compaction of the crop. S ('steered’) stands for cam track steering of the feed channel while T (short for German 'tief’) refers to the lowered loading floor, large track width and low centre of gravity of this loader wagon. The Classic denomination implies that the feed unit features three feed intake bars.
A unique combination of pick-up and feed unit
The Lely Tigo 25 ST Classic model features a camless pick-up. Thus far, Lely is the only manufacturer to combine a camless pick-up with a traditional feed unit. For some time now, Lely has successfully applied this combination in its other S models. The camless pick-up has a width of 1.80 m and it features five tine bars with a 54 mm tine spacing. Lely has opted for this pick-up because of the excellent pick-up quality, smooth running and the fact that this unit is entirely maintenance-free.
Much attention for forage quality
Good crop feed and minimal crop damage is ensured by the smooth action of the double tines. Therefore the tine feed unit handles the crop far better than a rotor feed unit thus maintaining forage quality.
With the Lely Tigo 25 ST Classic, Lely proves that the benefits of classic and modern technology can be perfectly combined into one single compact loader wagon.
