Attis PT

Immediate wrapping of the bale ensures an airtight seal allowing the fermentation process to begin as soon as possible. The bale is not opened until it’s needed. Heating and decay are avoided and top quality fodder is produced.

Lely introduces a complete range of Attis bale wrappers

Following the successful launch of the Lely Tigo loader wagons and the Lely Welger Tornado baler/wrapper combination in 2009, Lely has started off the new year with three new Lely Attis round bale wrappers. The Attis range, comprising of a bale wrapper for three-point linkage, has now been extended by three trailed models. With this move, Lely strengthens its position in the market place for fodder harvesting machines as well as providing Lely dealers a position of total supplier in terms of baling and wrapping.

The simplest model in the new range is the Lely Attis PT 130. This model features a low-position wrapping table as well as a loading arm Due to the exceptionally low build height of the PT 130 model, the centre of gravity remains low and the wrapped bale lands softly on the ground. This wrapper has been developed for small and medium-sized farms who want to wrap their bales at a modest investment.

The Lely Attis PT 160 is today's most versatile bale wrapper with a wrapping table. Due to the adjustable bale guiding elements, bale width can be varied between 1.25 and 1.50 m. The height of the film holder can be easily adjusted to wrap bales with diameters ranging from 0.9 to 1.6 m; this ensures that the heart of the bale is consistently wrapped. The wrapping programme can be easily adjusted to ensure the bale is wrapped with exactly the right number of film layers. Therefore, this wrapper is ideally suited to combination with a variable chamber round baler.

Due to its big output and ease of operation, the Lely Attis PS 160 is the perfect machine for medium-size and large farms and contractors. The wrapper can be very easily adjusted to a different bale diameter so that this machine, too, can be ideally combined with a variable chamber round baler. The twin satellite wrapping arms and the rugged rounded box section frame, ensure an exceptionally reliable construction.

A unique feature of the PS 160 is the special, patented shape of the hydraulically operated draw bar. During the wrapping process, the draw bar can operate both in the offset position and in line with the tractor. In both positions it is possible to take along a second bale. This makes the combination much narrower allowing the operator to negotiate narrow passages while transporting two bales!

With this new line-up of Attis bale wrappers, Lely underpins once more its aspiration to offer a comprehensive range of high quality forage harvesting machines.
