Hanover - 25th June 2009
At the fourth Lely Field Days event, attended by dealers from 27 countries - an all time high number of attendants - of well over 600, Lely presented its loader wagon, which will be branded as the Lely Tigo loader wagon.
The Lely Tigo loader wagon is a result of the recently announced co-operation with and participation in Mengele Agrartechnik, a company that has built up a very good reputation over the years in the field of loader wagons. This company from Waldstetten, near Stuttgart in Germany, also has other products in the range, and there is every possibility that in future these will also be available in the vibrant red colour of Lely. The range of loader wagons provides a number of possibilities for all users of loader wagons.
In addition, Lely has been successful in implementing all the qualities that customers demand of a good mower in the two new Lely Splendimo M/MC mower lines; a strong centre pivot mower with the lowest power requirements, reduced transport height, a balanced hydraulic pneumatic ground suspension and a well thought-out non-stop break back device! Obviously the well-know Impeller conditioner has been incorporated, with further improvements for wide spreading.
In addition to these three-point linkage mowers Lely also introduced a new trailed straight mower concept which combines a large working width with compact road transport, the so-called Lely Splendimo P mowers. A product that was originally developed by Lely's strategic partner Vermeer from the USA and has been adopted for European working conditions.
Furthermore, the Lely Lotus 1500 Profi was presented; the worlds' largest capacity tedder, which includes 12 rotors with the well-known, unique Lely hookshape tine.
The Lely 2009 Field Days which took place in Hanover carried the theme "60 years of innovations, Go for the Future". Alexander van der Lely, Lely's CEO, obviously looked back at 60 years of innovations, but clearly indicated that Lely is also moving ahead dynamically; after all, the future has started now! With the introduction of the newest in robotic milking, the Lely Astronaut A3 Next, the co-operation with Mengele Agrartechnik and the introduction of a range of new products during the Field Days, Lely is delivering its promises, also in 2009.
