Lely celebrates 9,000 sold Lely Astronaut milking robots

To celebrate the sale of no less than 9,000 of its Astronaut robotic milking systems, Lely decided to introduce a limited series of the Lely Astronaut A3 Classic milking robots; a model which is prized highly competitive, while still meeting Lely's requirements for providing a robot with the lowest operational costs.

The Lely Astronaut A3 Classic looks similar to the complete version of the Astronaut A3 with its full options such as the Gravitor weighing floor, the Lely T4C Management System and its spacious cow box. Next to that the A3 Classic is equipped with the new MQC milk quality control system and the milk separation system M4USE.

The Lely Astronaut A3 Classic is still innovation at its best using highly developed techniques and most modern features. Field-proven worldwide, The Astronaut milking robot is designed for long-term toughness, year-round reliability and a solid return-on-investment.

After the invention of the Astronaut in 1992 Lely has installed its milking robots worldwide. From introduction it was a sure sign that robotic milking is becoming more and more accepted. Lely is the market leader for robotic milking systems. Today approximately 1.5 million milkings are done daily by Lely Astronauts robotic milking systems.
