New tines for Lely Hibiscus CD rakes

To ensure an improved raking operation and swath delivery, the central delivery rakes of the CD series now feature a new type of tine. These new tines have the same characteristics as the well-known Ro-tines, but they are positioned closer together and their mutual configuration has been improved. The tine position is somewhat straighter, which optimises the raking operation while maintaining the tine's outstanding ground contour following capabilities.

The largest rake of the range - the Hibiscus 855 CD - comes with a new carriage underneath the rotors as from this season. This special triangular tandem construction makes the rake more stable, which benefits operation speeds. The gauging action of the rotor has been improved due to the position of the two front wheels close to the rake tines. The rear wheel is positioned farther to the rear so that it functions as a stabiliser for the two front wheels. In addition, the rear wheel can swivel with a view to avoiding damage of the turf as a result of 'wriggling' when taking bends.
