Lely Astri Foamer unit
The Lely Astri Foamer unit in combination with the Lely Astri-B foam liquid offers a unique hygiene solution for all external parts of the milking robot and the control room. A clean robot room reduces the attraction of flies and is more pleasant to work in. Fewer flies mean less stress during milking. This foam will also penetrate in areas that are difficult to reach on the object to be cleaned. Lely Astri-B foam removes organic matters (e.g. dung, feed and milk residues) as well as inorganic matters (e.g. lime and iron) effectively; it is free of chlorine and prevents corrosion when applied at the recommended concentrations. It is also odour and dye free for the comfort of the cows.
The Lely Astri Foamer unit operates effectively at low water pressure. Low pressure is a must for the following reasons:
- Low pressure presents no risk to the electronic system
- Low pressure does not form an unhealthy mist, which you might otherwise inhale whilst cleaning
The Lely Foamer unit is more economical to use compared to a high pressure water unit, it requires neither electricity nor air-pressure and is easy to handle and install. Lely Astri-B is supplied in 24 kg cans.
