Service Engineer Dairy Equipment, New Zealand
The service engineer functions in a 24/7 back up service and is capable of solving failures independently. The Service Engineer will have in depth product knowledge of a wide range of advanced high quality products and be utilising these skills for supporting our range of high tech machinery for the dairy farms.The Product Specialist is the first point of contact for the end user. Your responsibilities will be focused on service and after sales support of the range of dairy products in an local area New Zealand.
This role includes:
Ability to detect failures systematically and to decide whether they can be solved by yourself or a third party.
Replacing (micro-)electronic components.
Electrical and pneumatic connections, couplings, etc. to be able to assess the technical condition and carry out repairs.
Ability to assess the condition of lines, moveable parts and to replace them, if necessary.
Handling of tools.
Ability to assess software and hardware problems and to decide whether they can be solved by yourself or a third party.
Desirable points are:
- Background in dairy farming
- Understanding of animal husbandry issues like feeding etc
