Lely Nautilus milk cooling models
Lely Nautilus milk cooling tanks are available in sizes ranging from 4,000 to 30,000 litres. Models from 4,000 to 8,000 litres are available with either integrated or separate cooling units. The integrated cooling unit has the advantage that almost no installation work needs to be done.
The tank outlet is also very practical. As tank outlet sizes differ in each county, Nautilus constructed its tank outlet from fi xed and movable parts to ensure that it always fi ts. Nautilus milk cooling tanks are constructed entirely from stainless steel and recyclable materials. For ease of transportation the frame has detachable legs and the agitator is detachable. Removing the agitator and legs reduces the overall height by about 25 cm. All Lely Nautilus milk cooling tank models have a manhole lid that can be opened with only one hand and swivelled to the side.
This type of opening may be convenient in cases where the milk room ceiling is very low. The smaller Nautilus tank models, ranging from 4,000 till 8,000 litres, are equipped with some special features such as an emptying bowl at the outlet of the inner tank. Such a bowl decreases the whirl – an air spiral produced during emptying of a vessel of liquid – resulting in less mechanical damage of the milk during the emptying process.
The table shows the comprehensive range of Nautilus milk cooling tanks. The models marked with ‘C’ have an integrated condensing unit and are ready to use. The tank models identifi ed by ‘S’ are shorter and wider.
