The dairy farmer can choose to feed fresh milk or powder milk, or a combination of both. As well as feeding calves automatically, the Calm calf feeder has another benefit: the registration of individual calf data. When the calf is due for a given quantity the processor will calculate how much will be distributed according to her feeding program and give the correct pre determined portions. A calf will enter the drinking station and is identified. The processor calculates if she should have a quantity of milk or if she i€™s refused. Fully automatic cleaning with warm water and detergents makes sure that waist products will get drained and sediments will be avoided.
