Splendimo mower-conditioners incorporate a ''Top Drive''. This special drive mechanism above the first disc drives the cutter bar via a maintenance-free, double universal coupling. With the Impeller conditioner it is possible to produce either wide or narrow swaths. Break back protection The low power requirement of the mowing bar and the enormous throughput of the widest conditioners on the market ensure a high output. In principle, the suspension on the mower and the arm constantly raise up the mowing unit slightly, which relieves the weight of the mower on the ground. The full weight is therefore never carried on the ground.
