The headland ram first raises the mower in the frame, after which two rams lift the frame, thus creating extra ground clearance. The headland turning ram is operated by the single-action hydraulic function. The ground pressure of the mower can be infinitely adjusted using four springs. The ground pressure on the left and the right, are separately adjusted by means of two threaded spindles. The draw bar swivels by means of a double-action lifting ram.
