British Lely, who was manufacturing combine harvesters and hedge trimmers at Wootton Bassett in Wiltshire was amalgamated with Lely Import to form Lely (UK) Ltd, following the rapid success of the Dutch products on UK farming.

Lely (UK) Ltd now concentrate on an extensive range of Lely manufactured grass harvesting machinery as well as Welger balers, Sgariboldi animal diet feeders, plus Goweil bale wrappers and handling equipment.
