Innovation as catalyst for positive impact

A growing world population means wise choices have to be made for food production. Farmers around the globe are crucial players to feed the world. Innovations are needed to make sure that farmers continue to have their license to operate. Preserving nature, monitoring animal wellbeing and farmer prosperity are key themes to ensure that farmers can continue to feed the world.

We invite startups from all over the world to pitch their innovation. From the submissions, we select about 10 innovators, whom we invite to explore further collaboration with us at our Lely Campus, our head office in Maassluis, the Netherlands. Ultimately, we will choose at least one startup solution with which we will explore a pilot collaboration and further explore investment and/or strategic partnerships.

What's in it for you?

Get the chance to tap into the knowledge, experience, network, resources and facilities of Lely, the world market leader in robots for dairy farming in 75 years, potentially securing investment or a strategic partnership.

If you are selected by Lely as a nominee, you will be invited to a fully catered two-day challenge. During these days, you will have the opportunity to meet with Lely farming innovators, and pitch your startup in front of a jury. Lely will cover accomodation expenses for this event. In addition, the winner will be awarded a €5,000 pilot fee from Lely to kickstart future cooperation.
