Executive Board

André van Troost Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

‘Since 1948, we have been serving farmers worldwide. It is in our DNA to turn today's challenges of the changing environment into tomorrow's opportunity. All with one goal: to make the lives of farmers easier. To help them safeguard their license to produce and to help feed the world. That mission has never changed. Neither did the way we do that: through realising the farm of the future with innovative solutions and services that put the farmer's needs in the centre.’

Gijs Scholman Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

‘How the farm of the future looks like is largely determined by the geographical location and type of farm. We aim to offer revolutionary propositions that match these differences. Our worldwide Lely Center network ensures that these solutions actually reach the farmer and are implemented in the right way. After start up, our Lely Center network is always nearby to support and advise where necessary. And because there is not one single future farm, this is always tailor-made.’

Marijke Jansen Chief Operations Officer (COO)

‘At Lely, we have passionate people who are proud of what they do and who are constantly striving to support farmers in their daily work: feeding the world. The further development of the supply chain, sales & service competence and propositions is vital to continue making a difference within dairy farming in the future. Working on the farm of the future is a wonderful challenge for our legendairy people.’

Martijn Boelens Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

‘Future farming is about farmers' license to produce. How can we further improve animal welfare, reduce environmental impact and build a bridge between consumer and farmer? We believe this can be done with smart innovations that address these challenges. Digitalisation plays an important factor in this. How do we take the farmer along in the far-reaching digitalisation of his farm while ensuring that this happens in a safe environment? These are the challenges we face together in realising the farm of the future.’

Ronald Eikelenboom Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

‘Working on the farm of the future requires a solid strategy and a healthy financial position to deliver on our long-term impact ambition. With the right people, processes, and working environment, we realize the innovative propositions that contribute to that future farm. Our teams in Finance, Legal, Tax and Risk & Compliance are the compass to make the right choices in executing our strategies, and secure the strong position of Lely towards all stakeholders.’
