Views on future-proof milking

The new milestone in cow comfort

We managed to build a carefree concept around the cow, to ensure that cows enjoy being milked within a low-threshold system. We took cow comfort to a new level with a unique, precise robot arm and the I-flow concept. As a result, visiting behaviour increases, as does robot capacity.

The new milestone in ease of use

We understand that having easy ways to control your milking robot increases job satisfaction. The intuitive user interface displays all relevant information and offers fast access to important functions. Milking a fresh cow has never been so easy: simply push the button to connect or feed.

The new milestone in energy friendliness

The Lely Astronaut A5 stands for serviceability and high-quality components. Because of the unique design, it ensures a significantly lower cost per pound of milk produced. The energy-efficient hybrid arm enables enhanced – faster and more secure – milking robot performance.

25 Years dairy automation

When Lely developed robotic milking, the era of dairy automation truly took off. Lives have been changed, animal welfare has improved and farming efficiency has been reinvented. 25 years of dairy automation also means that a whole generation has grown up with the benefits of this new technology.

How do these successors envisage the future of their dairy farms? Which opportunities do they see and what challenges do they face? These questions are imperative in helping define the farms of the future.
