Easy to operate
The redesigned, intuitive user interface makes automatic milking easy to understand for everybody. It shows all relevant information in a cleverly designed overview and offers fast access to important functions.

From a cow’s first milking to everyday maintenance. From instant actions, such as feed allocation, cow-specific routing and daily maintenance tasks: it’s all just one click away.

The service screen will give you all the necessary functions in clear menus. And this takes you – step by step – through the information you’ll need for the daily servicing of the milking system. 

Easy to maintain
For maximum uptime and reduction of service time, the Lely Astronaut A5 allows you easy access to all parts. The central unit now offers more space enabling quicker service and maintenance and easy positioning of containers. 

Easy first milking
New with the Astronaut A5 comes the ‘Easy First Milking’ feature. For cows that are milked in the Astronaut for the first time or cows that have calved recently, you’ll need to position the robot arm manually. This can be done easily and quickly through the display on the milking robot. This feature enables the robot to easily and safely place itself in starting position after which the robot independently searches and connects the teats. Easy for you and relaxed for the cow.
