With automatic feeding, all you have to do is decide which nutrients should be included in the ration for each group of animals. Intelligent software calculates exactly how much is needed. The feed grabber weighs the ingredients of the ration required with great precision. After this step, the automatic feeding system knows where and how much ration needs to be placed by the feed fence.

Automating this task saves you from having to do a repetitive job every day, and means you can have up to 8 hours more free time per week. In addition, the feed wagon is no longer needed, so automatic feeding also saves you fuel: up to 5,500 litres less diesel per year.

Feeding according to needs

Automatic feeding helps you to ensure that each cow can satisfy her own eating needs, depending on her stage of development. Feeding on demand and looking at what is needed per group of animals allows you to reduce the costs of rearing calves. With the right food, heifers are ready for insemination more quickly: as much as 4 to 6 weeks earlier compared to a conventional feeding system.

Lactating cows benefit from a tailor-made ration, as it gives them the right nutrients and maximum dry matter to stimulate milk production. Dry cows also have specific needs: by keeping the intake of dry matter as high as possible during the transitional phase, you also calculate their ingestion capacity when the next lactation phase starts.

Beef cattle also benefit from feeding according to need: the animals gain weight more quickly, which significantly reduces the costs of finishing.
