Once you are satisfied that the product works, you will deploy one of our test farms to conduct thorough testing in practice.

In your department, you will be collaborating with no fewer than 250 engineers, all of whom are exclusively involved in the improvement of existing Lely products and the devising and testing of new solutions. Your will be working with multidisciplinary teams to build prototype machines and as wells as contribute to continuous development of current products. You will liaise actively with suppliers, the procurement department and test farms, and you will be involved throughout the chain, from the initial idea up to and including the final product.

In essence..

  • Specification, design, testing and qualification of electronic hardware.
  • Works in multi-disciplinary projects in conjunction with other engineers.
  • Help maintaining the current product portfolio.
  • Follow internal design and development processes using a structured approach.
  • Timely production of deliverables.
  • Perform root cause analyses.

What is your experience?

And do you have…

  • Knowledge of microcontroller and microprocessor designs.
  • Good understanding of analog, digital, power supply and motor control design fundamentals.
  • Experience in EMC design, testing and certification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (CANbus etc) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of the Robotics/AGV industries and knowledge of relevant electrical & functional safety standards (e.g. ATEX, UL, EMC, LVD) is an advantage.
