What is your role?

As a Software Engineer in the AGV team you are responsible for the further development and the maintenance of our automated feeding system and other automated guided vehicles. We are looking for two new colleagues!

As part of the software development team you participate in every phase of the product development process to finalize a production worthy system. The challenge is to translate the requirements to a solid software design.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Designing, implementing and testing of C++, C and python
  • Optimizing data structures and algorithms used in production
  • Maintaining existing embedded software including parts of legacy code
  • Ensuring quality-control based on design and code reviews, plus defining unit and integration tests
  • Contributing to the agile work process by reporting your coding plans, project progress and managing risks

What is your experience?

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science (or a similar study).
  • You have at least 5 years of experience with software engineering – bonus points if you have experience with embedded systems.
  • You are an experienced developer who can write professional code and  you have experience with the C++ programming language and are familiar with Python 3.6 and above.
  • Software Architecture knowledge is appreciated. 
  • Knowledge of ROS 2 is a plus.
  • You have working knowledge of Linux and Git.
  • Experience in working in multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams and showing that you are a good team-player in SW development.
  • Affinity with mechatronics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Gitlab CI or similar tools is a appreciated.
  • Knowledge of Robotics and Mobile Robotics is a plus.
  • You are living in Europe.
