What is your role?

As the largest robot manufacturer in Europe with the ambition to make the lives of dairy farmers more pleasant and sustainable, our team is constantly evolving. The tactical procurement team consists of 15 buyers who are connected to business teams and product groups. We are currently seeking a new colleague for the Electronics product group. In addition to your direct colleagues in procurement, you will collaborate closely with Proposition Management, Product Development, Operations, and other colleagues within the Integrated Supply Chain.

As a Buyer Electronics, you ensure that our robots leave the factory on time, in full, and on spec by selecting the best suppliers in multidisciplinary teams. Together with the supplier, you safeguard the agreements made and continuously work on improving the value stream. This role involves handling large quantities and series productions, making it an interesting job with a corresponding budget.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for the performance management of suppliers, both nationally and internationally.
Responsible for selecting suppliers for technical projects (from a pool of fixed suppliers).
Negotiating prices, quality, and delivery times.
Monitoring agreements and framework contracts.
Guiding technical projects (NPI and continuous development) from drawing to realization.
Actively contributing to the further development of the department and participating in procurement-related (development) projects.

What is your experience?

In addition, you bring the following qualifications:

Completed relevant education at a university of applied sciences or university level.
A minimum of 3-5 years of procurement experience in electronics and/or mechatronics.
Experience in the manufacturing industry and/or series production processes.
Preferably, you have completed NEVI or another procurement training.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
A driver's license is required due to supplier visits.
