Your Mission:

As a Sourcing Manager 3rd Party Wholegoods, your job goes beyond procurement, it’s about shaping the destiny of agriculture for generations to come. It’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of a global agricultural revolution.

You will join a dynamic team of 9 other Sourcing Managers, all reporting to the Manager of Strategic Procurement. Your sphere of influence extends to collaborating closely with Operational Procurement, consisting of 10 Contract Managers, and Continuous Improvement Procurement, composed of 3 Data Analysts and 2 Procurement Engineers. Within the Strategic Procurement Team, every team member has a mandate and responsibility to revolutionize the Source2Contract process for their own part of the technology spectrum and related procurement markets and suppliers.

In this transformative mission, you will:

Act as the primary business purchasing and technology partner for your internal stakeholders. Your influence will help align our strategic vision with that of our business partners, driving innovation and growth;
Identifying new opportunities by obtaining market information from, among other things, the product and technology offerings of third parties. Your insights will lead to the most innovative and sustainable solutions for dairy farming;
Perform purchasing analyzes and develop a purchasing strategy and plan. You help build a more sustainable and profitable future for dairy farmers. Your expertise and strategic thinking will determine the direction of our sourcing efforts;
Creating collaborations by selecting, negotiating and contracting external suppliers in accordance with predefined business and product needs of internal stakeholders, you will facilitate collaborations that will advance our vision.

What is your experience?

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration and/or Science;
Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in a sourcing role;
Knowledge of strategic (digital) procurement methods, processes, and systems, as well as SCM;
Understanding of Agriculture business and market dynamics;
Knowledge of Financial Accounting & Controlling;
Strong (data) analytical and negotiation skills;
Strong influencing and dealing with resistance skills;
Proficient in Dutch and English communication;
Strong Team collaboration, leadership skills and taking ownership.
