What is your role?

As a Junior Application Expert, you play a crucial role in the team of application experts, closely collaborating with solution architects. Together, you are responsible for problem-solving, maintaining, and implementing new processes across our ERP system and integrated systems. You are proactive and capable of quickly analyzing urgent issues to arrive at effective solutions. Additionally, you provide well-considered advice on daily financial processes or during project participation. You share responsibility for configuring, building, and maintaining financial business processes in our ERP application Infor M3 and various financial applications, all aimed at ensuring the financial flows within Lely run as effectively and efficiently as possible.

You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will guide and train you as needed until you can independently perform your tasks. In addition to ongoing development and maintenance of the application, you maintain close contact with Finance key-users. You partially provide training and assist them when they encounter difficulties. Questions come in via the Topdesk ticketing system, which you or the team address.

Through comprehensive onboarding and with the help of colleagues, you will increasingly be able to perform these tasks independently. Opportunities for internal and external training to fulfill your current role or pursue further ambitions within Lely and continue your personal development are available. Initially, this is a junior role with significant growth potential; in the long term, you may also progress to other areas within the organization. What is your experience?

To successfully translate organizational needs into the ERP application landscape, it is important that you are strong in process management and have a good understanding of system technology. You are a connector, someone who easily rallies people and always strives to achieve the common goal.

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree level of thinking and working.
  • A proactive attitude.
  • Passion for continuous improvement.
  • A team player.
  • Good command of Dutch and English language, both written and spoken.
  • Experience or affinity with ERP systems, preferably in a production environment or within the process industry, is a plus.
  • Experience in guiding process improvements within an organization.

Desired qualifications

  • Experience in financial administration.
  • Experience with operational processes such as production, procurement, sales, warehousing, or transportation is a plus.
