What is your role?

Lely develops and produces robots and digital services for the agricultural sector, especially dairy farms, and supplies them worldwide in more than 40 countries.

In this position, you and your (international) team are responsible for the daily security monitoring, security management and support of our digital services in a third-line position. This function is positioned in the Digital Operations Center, this team is operationally responsible end-to-end; from the PC on the farm to the cloud platforms in Azure.

You interact with customers and colleagues all over the world, from Service Technicians to Product Developers, super versatile and it offers plenty of opportunities for personal development and growth opportunities. You help ensure that our solutions are safe and secure.

Your activities
Your key objective is to ensure the operational security of our digital solutions in the field, with Lely Horizon, Lely’s digital Farm Management system at its core.
You delve into complex security issues by gathering security information from the field, analysing the cause of common problems and testing variables and scenarios. Your colleagues from Product Development are happy with your analysis and the way in which you think along with them in a solution-oriented way and jointly improve the products. You will be conducting proactive research to analyse security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies and work closely with the Enterprise Risk and Security department of the Lely Holding. Together with the Security and Privacy Officer you will be working to get our digital solutions demonstrably secure.

Furthermore, you are regularly involved in the validation of new products or product versions, you develop technical manuals and training materials. To build up a good relationship with colleagues abroad, you occasionally visit a branch and, if desired, give security awareness trainings.

What is your experience?

Qualifications

Three years of proven experience as security engineer;
Experience with Agile/Scrum/Lean methodologies and worked in SecOps teams;
Strong experience with security monitoring (Security Incident and Event Management Systems);
Knowledge in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL, PowerShell and Windows OS;
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities;
Structured way of documenting your findings;
Good level of English (verbal and written);
Willingness to travel internationally;
Enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates about security threats and solutions;
Willingness to participate in stand-by duties (24x7 hotline operations);
Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
CISSP certified is a pre;
No distaste for cows :-)
Proactive mindset.

Occasional travel to other countries inside and outside Europe is part of this role.
