As from March 1st, Lely will introduce the colour grey for all her consumables udder care products. By implementing the change from blue to grey coloured packaging for udder care, we again take a step forward in easy recognition.

Lely installs the 500th Vector automatic feeding system

On 1 February, Lely installed the 500th Vector automatic feeding system. An exceptional milestone given that Lely has only been active in this market since 2012. The installation of the 500th Lely Vector and Feed Kitchen on the farm of Rosi Chris Holsteins inc. In Québec, Canada, Lely’s strong position in the area of automatic feeding can be felt.

The Lely Grazeway R makes managing grazing and certifying free-range milk easier

Lely introduces the Lely Grazeway R, a new system that automatically registers outdoor grazing. The system is composed of a registration gate and an associated reporting tool, which shows how long the cows have been out to pasture for. This makes managing grazing easier and shows the amount of grazing time per cow for free-range certification, which is something that is being asked for in more and more countries.

Industrial robots more flexible thanks to soccer and care robots

Dealing with the unexpected (read: non-programmed events) is a routine task for TU Eindhoven’s soccer and care robots. After all, you never know what an opponent or user will do next. Industrial robots, too, can benefit from increased independence and autonomy. For this reason, the university has set up a pioneering research project together with industrial partners - included Lely - to provide mobile industrial robots with an open world view that adapts to changes in the environment. An important aspect of this is that the robots learn to understand what they see, allowing them to adapt better to new circumstances and situations.

Lely expands its Feeding portfolio with a Trioliet silage cutter

From 1 January 2018, Lely will include the Trioliet TU 180 XL silage cutter in its Feeding portfolio. This machine has an exceptionally high cutting capacity and is designed for even the toughest silage. Thanks to the extra 105-cm depth, the TU 180 XL is ideal for filling feed kitchens. The block contains a lot of feed and can safely be stored in the feed kitchen with no risk of dropping.

Lely celebrates 25 years of robotic milking with the anniversary action ’Celebrate Generations’

On August 18, exactly 25 years ago the first milk from the Lely Astronaut flowed into the milk tank. An important step for the automation of dairy farms all over the world. This means that an entire generation of dairy farmers grew up with this form of automation. With the slogan 'Celebrate Generations' Lely would like to celebrate this milestone with a special anniversary promotion.
