Lely Exos winner of DLG Agrifuture Concept Award 2022
Maassluis, 14 November 2022 – Lely Exos, the world’s first concept for fully autonomous harvesting and feeding of fresh grass, is the winner of the DLG Agrifuture Concept Award 2022. This was announced today during EuroTier in Hannover, Germany. With Exos, Lely introduced an innovation in 2020 that is fully compatible with the transition to sustainable and circular dairy farming.

Lely Exos nominated for the DLG Agrifuture Concept Winner 2022
Maassluis, 22 September 2022 – Lely Exos, the world’s first concept for fully autonomous harvesting and feeding of fresh grass, has been nominated for the DLG Agrifuture Concept Winner 2022. With Exos, Lely introduced an innovation in 2020 that is fully compatible with the transition to sustainable and circular dairy farming. Exos enables dairy farmers to use a large part of their grassland to produce fresh feed. This results in a more efficient use of nutritional value of their roughage and more milk in the tank while saving labour and feed costs.

Lely introduces the next generation of Lely Juno
Lely introduces the next generation of Lely Juno, the automated feed pushing solution. The first generation Juno was launched in 2008. Over the years the model has been optimized with new benefits to take it to a next level. In the meanwhile the Lely Juno has become market leader within the feed pushing market with an installed base of more than 13.000 Juno’s in 45 countries all over the world. The past learnings have been used to further optimize the current introduced Juno model with the main goal to lower the running costs for the end users.

FrieslandCampina, Rabobank and Lely start pilot to reduce nitrogen
FrieslandCampina, Rabobank and Lely are joining forces to reduce nitrogen emissions at dairy farms. They are entering into a partnership for the installation of 96 Lely Spheres, spread across all Dutch provinces. The Lely Sphere is an installation that reduces nitrogen emissions up to 70 percent in the barn of a dairy farm. The three parties hope that after this pilot project the concept will be applied on a broader scale in the sector.

King Willem Alexander opens renewed Lely Campus in Maassluis
Lely works on future-proof dairy farming on premises doubled in size
Today, in the presence of, among others, Henk Staghouwer (Dutch Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality), His Majesty King Willem Alexander opened the renewed Lely Campus in Maassluis. Lely, the market leader in automated systems for dairy farmers, has doubled its surface for office and factory work. As a result, there is even more room for producing sustainable, innovative solutions for dairy farming. The building is BREAAM outstanding certified, making it one of the top most sustainable offices in Europe. During a guided tour, H.M. King Willem Alexander explored how products are being developed on the Lely Campus for the dairy farm of the future, in which sustainability and circularity play a central role.
