Lely discontinues commercial activities in Russia and Belarus
Lely is shocked by Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine. The Ukrainian people are in the midst of a war and face great uncertainty. Our thoughts are with the people directly affected by this crisis. Lely condemns Russia’s invasion and is immediately ceasing commercial activities in the region. This means that we will stop supplying robots to Russia and Belarus. We will continue to supply spare parts and consumables to our existing customers in these countries, considering that otherwise cow welfare and food supply in the region would be compromised.

Lely Orbiter now also delivers yoghurt directly from farm to supermarket
Since 2018, the Lely Orbiter has enabled farmers to deliver their milk directly from the farm to the supermarket. From now on, it is also possible to produce yoghurt with Lely's on-farm dairy processor. Earlier this year, the addition of new functionalities made it possible for farmers to produce cream as well. The continuous development of the Orbiter enables farmers to get the most out of their milk.

Lely Sphere wins Agribusiness Award 2021
Lely has won the Agribusiness Award 2021 of Boerenbusiness with the Lely Sphere. According to Aalt Dijkhuizen, chairman of the independent jury, the Sphere Lely contributes to "a particularly effective solution to today's complex nitrogen problem". Lely’s product managers Romy van Aalst and Rik Janssen (photo) received the award Thursday afternoon 25 November from Aalt Dijkhuizen, chairman of the jury of the Agribusiness Award, during a live broadcast on Boerenbusiness.nl. Besides the Award, the winner also receives a corresponding media package worth €6,500 and a follow-up course offered by ABN Amro.
