12:15 - 13:00   Farm walk to include seeing the Lely Vector in action.
13:00 - 14:00   Lunch.
14:00 - 15:15   Smart Feeding, Panel discussion with Simon Smith, Mark Davies and Lely representatives. Open Q&A session addressing feed, labour, costs and current challenges faced in the agricultural sector. 
15:15 - 15:30   Summarise and wrap up.

Meet the panelists

Derrick Davies

Customer Sales Support Feed

Derrick has a wealth of knowledge on cow and herd management plus a history in dairy consultative work. Derrick’s role within Lely Atlantic is focused on sales support from our feeding portfolio, Vector, Juno & Calm.

Peter and Richard Burbage

Farmers

Based in Northamptonshire the Burbage brothers both work on their business together, they run a beef farm alongside an agricultural farm contracting service. They installed a Lely Vector feeding system last November to feed all the beef cows on the farm.

Simon Smith

Nutritionist and farm consultant

Simon has a wealth of experience in nutrition of dairy and beef cattle and is involved in giving support and advice to conventional methods of feeding and robotic feeding with the Lely Vector.

Mark Davies

Farmer

Mark is a passionate dairy farmer based in Southwest Wales. He currently has 4 Lely Astronaut robotic milkers milking approximately +200 cow, with a herd average in excess of 12,000 litres. Mark and his family have decided to invest in the Lely Vector automated feeding system.
