The Disney family invested in their robotic dairy by installing 4 retrofitted Lely A5s into a pre-existing shed and two Lely A5s in a new building. The 4 robots are split so cows can be managed in groups, whilst in the new shed, the A5s run as single robot groups, allowing the team to keep a closer eye on heifers and freshly calved cows. This is further improved by purpose designed calving pens behind the robots in the new shed. The team are further assisted and save time with the use of Lely Collector slurry robots throughout and Lely Juno feed pushers.
