These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Lely all Astronaut completion entrants.

1. Definitions

We (“our”, “us”, “Lely”) means Lely International N.V., Cornelis van der Lelylaan 1, 3147 PB, Maassluis, The Netherlands. 

Website means our website: www.Lely.com.

You means the competition entrant.

2. Scope of Competition

First prize: A free trip for two people to a Lely robotic farm within the UK & Ireland

Second prize: Lely merchandise hamper worth £250

Third prize: A mini Lely merchandise hamper worth £100 

The competition ends on 1st November 2021 with all winners being announced on 8th November 2021. A member of our marketing team will contact you directly if you have won and how to claim your prize. Please ensure all information you enter on the form is correct. 

First prize will include travel for two people to and from the farm and overnight accommodation if needed. 

By entering/participating or attempting to participate in the Astronaut competition, you accept and agree that you, as a competition entrant are bound to these Terms & Conditions.

3. Terms of Validity

All competition entries must be made before the 31st of October 2021 in order to be eligible for the prize draw. 

Any entries made after the 31st of October will not count.

The competition only applies to those people living in the Great Britian and Ireland. 

4. Privacy and Data protection

Any personal details provided in connection with the Astronaut competition will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is important that you carefully read and understand this information.

All data collected by us will be used and processed exclusively within the framework of the current Dutch and European Union data protection laws and in accordance with our data protection and privacy policies.

5. Duration and Right to termination

The Astronaut competition runs until the 31st of October 2021. 

Lely can terminate the Astronaut competition or a person’s ability to participate at any time for any reason and without notice. 

Lely reserves the right to suspend accounts, cancel the prize or refuse a transaction if we notice any activity we believe fraudulent, improper, or unlawful or if we have a reason to assume you are in breach of these Astronaut competition Terms.

Lely reserves the right to review and investigate all Astronaut competition activities and to suspend accounts or modify the Astronaut competition as deemed fair and appropriate.
 
6. Limitation of liability

Lely accepts no liability for loss, theft, destruction or improper use of the prize, unless this is the result of gross negligence on the part of Lely.

Nothing in this agreement serves to exclude or limit liability for:

• death or personal injury due to negligence;
• deliberate deception;
• any other form of liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Astronaut competition terms are to be construed according to, and shall be governed by, Dutch law. The applicability of the Vienna Sales Convention (CISG, 11 April 1980) is explicitly excluded.

All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Astronaut competition shall be settled by the competent court of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Lely reserves the right to, at all times, amend these Astronaut competition publishing an amended version on the Lely Website.

You are free to decide whether or not to accept a revised version of these Astronaut competition terms. If you do not agree to any revised version of these Astronaut competition, your sole recourse is to stop your participation in the competition.

Except as otherwise expressly stated by us, participation in the Astronaut competition is subject to, and constitutes your acceptance of, the version of these Astronaut competition Terms in effect at the time of your participation in the Astronaut competition.
