Raking for good-quality feed: that is what the Lely Hibiscus rakes stand for. The Lely Hibiscus 1515 CD four-rotor rake takes this one step further. With its unique frame, this rake offers unrivalled flexibility and stability.
The frame makes this a compact and versatile machine. Ideally suited for smaller and more trickily shaped plots. The machine is perfectly suited for folding out in hilly terrains.
Unique frame for stability and user-friendliness
The V-shaped frame makes for a compact and stable machine without sacrificing stability. This offers many benefits.
The frame of the 1515 CD has a unique V shape. When you fold the machine out to its working mode, the frame shifts out towards the centre of gravity. Rotors are hung on the beams of the frame which form its V shape. Thanks to the shorter arms and cylinders, the lifting and lowering speed on headlands is increased. As is the total capacity of the machine.
The frame offers a range of swath widths thanks to the flexible distance and variable angle between the two main beams. The working widths are easy to configure yourself. They vary between 11 and 14.8 metres and the swath width between 0.9 and 3.5 metres, depending on the working width configured. Once configured, the machine itself adjusts to the best proportions and determines the remaining settings.
Stability for perfect ground-contour following and tight bends
Thanks to the frame’s V shape, the machine becomes wider when folded out. And the wider the rake is, the more stable it is when it is being operated. The wheels are also fitted between the rotors. This guarantees you excellent ground-contour following, even on very uneven ground contours.
With the V-frame, many of the heavier components are shifted towards the front of the transport wheels. This means that the weight remains at the front of the machine, even when used on headlands.
The position of the wheels and the shape of the frame also allow you to turn in tight bends. Leaving no piece of land unraked. Efficiency in as little time as possible.
