The international agricultural symposium “we’ll 2013” in ‘s-Hertogenbosch ended today with almost 400 enthusiastic participants from 25 countries. They learnt from inspiring visionairs and industry experts that solutions are needed to feed nine billion people worldwide by 2050.

Contrary to our earlier invitation, the programme of the “we’ll 2013” symposium is being reduced to one day: Wednesday 15th May. We have made this change to fit in better with our international partners’ schedules. On the Tuesday evening before the day of the symposium there will be a networking programme and a dinner for participants and press. Full details of the revised programme for 14th and 15th May are enclosed.

Access to automatic milking systems is a major factor in determining capacity. In 2010 Lely took a big step forward in improving access when it introduced the Astronaut A4 with I-flow concept. This made the Lely Astronaut the first robotic milking system that allowed the cow to walk straight in and out of the box without any obstacles.

Lely introduces the Lely Aebi 260 FA and Lely Aebi 300 FS front mowers with modified pendular headstock to fit Aebi Terratrac tractors. Because of their compact build, low centre of gravity and modest power requirements, these disc mowers – with working widths from 2.60 to 3.00 m respectively – are ideally suited to alpine regions.
