May 13, 2013

Guests will travel to join the symposium not only from Europe but also from countries much further away, such as Japan, Israel, Turkey, USA and Canada. The future of agriculture concerns us all, which leads to a diverse audience at the symposium. Visitors include farmers, vets, banks, feed specialists and more.

ABN AMRO, ForFarmers, Lely Group and Wageningen UR (University & Research centre) have joined their forces to raise awareness across the globe of the fact that solutions will be needed to feed nine billion people worldwide by 2050. To achieve this, “we’ll 2013” will bring together scientists, trend watchers, visionary farmers and market specialists to contribute their visions and solutions.

The symposium has been set up by the partners as a networking event, bringing together high-level expertise and inspiring visions that contribute to a successful future for agriculture and mankind. The event starts with an evening programme on May 14, and a full day programme on May 15.
