Winter has arrived, bringing crisp white frost to the grass in the morning and cooler nights, making for a better nights sleep. I’ll be heading around on my second farm visit for the year, and I’m preparing some tools and great sessions to revise areas within Horizon that may help you use the system better. I’ve also prepared explanations regarding the KPIs, reproduction and the new dashboard which will be coming soon.

Treatment plans can help you keep track of all health and medicine records. They contain a combination of diagnoses, curative health events and used medicine. Milk separation settings are also a part of the treatment plans which contributes to correctly separating the milk during the withhold periods.
Treatment plans are found within Horizon in the following place,
Manage > Treatment Plan > Click onto the treatment.
Once treatment plans are applied, they will appear on the, ‘Health treatment task’. This will display which cows have active treatments plans.
