Our Farm Management Support specialists continuously investigate how to improve the milking process even further. They do this by running tests in the barn while using our customers’ knowledge of the Lely barn solutions. In this way they gain valuable insights, which help you to manage your dairy farm more efficiently and profitably.

Lely T4C 3.6 Advanced filters
In Lely T4C 3.6 a new feature has been implemented so that more advanced lists and routing settings can be created. With this option it is possible to combine different criteria within one list. For example, a reproduction checklist can be created that includes both cows for pregnancy check and cows over fifty days into lactation that have not been seen in heat.

Collars and cows
Collars have multiple functions. Cows can be visually recognised by the farmer due to the numbers displayed on them. The tag attached to the collar communicates with the milking robot and plays a vital role in, for example, the robot allowance. Therefore it is essential that the collar is set up correctly.

Report 10 combines all available sensors on the farm to identity the cows that need the farmer’s attention followed by an action. This was already available with Lely T4C InHerd and now with the T4C 3.6 update it is also available on T4C Desktop.
