What is your role?

At Lely, innovation on the farm starts with people who understand both technology and its real-world impact. As Technical Services Support, you are at the heart of our operations, connecting advanced robotic solutions with practical implementation on farms. You ensure that every installation runs smoothly, every system performs optimally, and every technician feels supported. 

In this role, you combine deep technical expertise with a strong sense of ownership for projects and people. From troubleshooting complex issues to guiding installations and improving processes, your contribution directly impacts the success of our Lely Centers and the farmers we serve. 

Your main responsibilities include: 

  • Providing advanced technical support to Lely Centers and field technicians across mechanical, electrical and software domains 
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, both remotely and on-site when needed 
  • Coaching and mentoring technicians to strengthen technical capabilities and ensure consistency 
  • Supporting installation, commissioning and optimisation of Lely robotic systems 
  • Contributing to the design, planning and coordination of installations, including working with AutoCAD or similar tools 
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient and high-quality project delivery 

What is your experience?

You are a technically skilled professional who enjoys solving complex challenges while working closely with others. With a structured mindset and a hands-on approach, you know how to translate technical knowledge into practical solutions that make a difference on the farm. 

To be successful in this role, you bring: 

  • A strong technical background, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering 
  • Experience with automation, robotics or agricultural equipment, which is highly valued 
  • A methodical and analytical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving 
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to train, support and influence stakeholders 
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software, ideally within agriculture or construction 
  • Proven ability to coordinate projects and manage multiple stakeholders, including third parties
