Lely Center Mitchelstown is the leading supplier of farm automation equipment covering the areas of Cork, Kerry & Limerick.

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a high portfolio of qualified candidates to join our team .These exciting positions will form part of our service team and offer the successful candidates the opportunity to install and support our robotic milking, feeding and cleaning systems and associated barn equipment.

The Role                                   

• Providing technical support for the full range of Lely products including Astronaut milking system, Vector feeding system, Discovery barn cleaners and Calm calf feeders.
• Ensuring high quality service performance and customer satisfaction by working, according to Lely protocols and preventative maintenance guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records of work carried out.
• Providing regular customer feedback to the wider Lely Organisation to further improve products and services
• Willing to work as part of a team providing 24hr cover via an on call rota when training is complete

Ideal candidate

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and IT skills
• Can do attitude, self-starter, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to learn
• A genuine interest in the agricultural sector, you must be comfortable and competent when dealing with customers and their livestock
• Good communication skills and a team player
• Sound technical experience with ability to solve technical issues and carry out preventative maintenance
