Sales Advisor
Position Overview
Here at Lely centre Mitchelstown, we are expanding our team and are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Sales Advisor to join our growing team. In this role, you will help farmers and agricultural businesses discover the benefits of our automated agricultural solutions across your assigned territory.
You will connect with potential and existing customers, build trusted relationships, understand their needs, and present practical solutions that support their operations. By doing so, you will help unlock the full market potential within your region. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Identify opportunities within your territory to support farmers and agricultural businesses
- Demonstrate and explain automated agricultural solutions in a clear and engaging way
- Provide tailored recommendations that align with each customer’s needs
- Prepare quotations and follow up on customer enquiries and leads
- Represent the company at agricultural shows, industry events, and client meetings
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and opportunities
- Work closely with technical and installation teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
Essential Skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with good organizational and time-management abilities
- Comfortable working independently while staying connected with the wider team
- Full driving license
Desirable
- Experience or interest in agriculture, agri-business, engineering, or sales
- Background in customer service, retail, account management, or advisory roles
- Interest in technology, innovation, or automated systems
