With our rapidly expanding business, we’re looking for 5 Trainee Service Engineers to join our teams in Mullingar and Kilkenny. You’ll play a key role in supporting Ireland’s most progressive dairy farmers and making a real impact on farm performance and sustainability.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Level 6 or 7 qualification in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanics, or a related field

Apprenticeship in Farm Machinery or Mechanics (desirable)

Knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems an advantage

Good IT and diagnostic skills

Strong problem-solving ability and flexibility to work independently or as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
Essential Duties
-
Assist in installation, service, and maintenance of robotic milking, feeding, and cleaning systems

Support senior service engineers on diagnostics, repairs, and system upgrades

Complete job-related administration and service reports accurately

Maintain a tidy and organised workstation and service vehicle

Undertake ongoing product and technical training through the Lely Academy
