Lely produces 1,000th Vector automatic feeding system

Lely produced the 1000th Vector feeding system today. A special milestone, as they have doubled production in the past three years. The Vector feeding system is now used in 31 countries on a wide variety of dairy and beef cattle farms. The 1000th Vector is on its way to Società Agricola Rendena San Michele's dairy farm in Italy, to feed a herd of 117 to 130 lactating cows plus associated young stock, heifers and dry cows.

Cloud Connect now available for Juno & Discovery 120 Collector

During this year's Lely Future Farm Days in October a new data platform saw light: Lely Horizon. With the aim of connecting all Lely products to this platform, Lely now introduces Cloud Connect for the Juno feed pusher and Discovery 120 Collector manure robot. Cloud Connect provides users with more control over and insight into the performance of their Juno and Collector.

New feed grabber for the Lely Vector feeding system

Lely introduces a new feed grabber for the Lely Vector automatic feeding system. The feed grabber hangs in the feed kitchen and is used to load the mixing and feeding robot with an accuracy of up to 98%. The new design improves both the functionality and lifetime of the feed grabber bucket, and the maintenance costs.

Lely is introducing a unique concept for autonomous feeding with fresh grass

Maassluis, 6 October 2020 - Lely is launching the first concept for the fully autonomous harvesting and feeding of fresh grass: Lely Exos. With this system, dairy farmers can use a large part of their grassland to produce fresh feed. As a result, they use the nutritional value of their roughage more efficiently, and can produce more milk from their own grassland. This solution is completely compatible with making dairy farms circular. In addition, the system saves on labour and feed costs.

Lely launches a system separating mineral streams and converting emissions into value

Approximately 70% reduction in ammonia emissions

Maassluis, 6 October 2020 - Lely presents a new barn system for separating mineral flows and converting emissions into value; Lely Sphere. The system separates manure and urine, converts nitrogen emissions, and creates 3 valuable types of fertiliser. Dairy farmers can use these separated fertilisers for precision fertilisation. This closes mineral loops better, reduces nitrogen emissions, and creates a healthier climate in the barn.
