Lely Atlantic (UK & IE) offers enhanced customer service

Leading farm automation business, Lely, is implementing a new operational system across its franchise network in Ireland. From the end of January, the new structure will offer enhanced levels of support to its existing, and new customers. The changes will see the teams in the South East combined with those from Mitchelstown, with the area run by the new General Manager Brian O’Riordan. Customers in the Wexford, Kilkenny, Waterford, Carlow and Tipperary areas will have access to additional farm support, advice, ongoing maintenance information, and sales services from this new team. They will also continue to liaise with the skilled team of service technicians and professionals at Lely Center Enniscorthy.

Lely Centers in Ireland

Lely Atlantic operates three franchise Centers within Ireland – Mitchelstown, Mullingar and Eglish. To date, each of the individual Lely Centers have focused exclusively on their own designated areas, offering farm support advice, maintenance and sales to customers. However, the combination of the Mitchelstown and the South East areas will result in a coordinated service for customers in both regions.

Sherwin Moazami, Cluster Manager Atlantic UK & IE, says the new system will start operating from January 29 2021. “We have a wonderful team right across Ireland and work with the entire franchise network to ensure the specialist teams are trained in providing the unsurpassed levels of support that farmers expect. Combining Mitchelstown and the South East will bring this expertise together in a way that will benefit all of our customers.

”Our aim is to deliver even greater levels of support to our existing, and new, customers, and I believe this is a very positive step for the future.”

Brian O’Riordan, General Manager, Mitchelstown and the South East region welcomes the positive change and says: “Lely is at the forefront of innovation, and continuously works to seek new ideas and positive change for its customers and farmers. I look forward to working with the great team of experts in Mitchelstown and in the South East to deliver on this. We will bring this expertise together in a way that will significantly benefit all of our customers.”

Lely first entered the Irish market over 10 years ago and have played a strong hand in automating farm processes. Their newest farm management application, Lely Horizon, was recently unveiled during the Lely Future Farm Days 2020. Described by Lely as a ‘decision-support platform, which analyses data, offers insights and gives proactive advice to make the farmer’s life easier, the herd healthier and the farm more profitable’, this is just one of the many new technologies in the Lely pipeline.
