20 years of Lely Discovery reaches another milestone:

Earlier this year we started the celebration around 20 years of Lely Discovery, reinforcing the impact this innovation has had on dairy farming worldwide. Today we would like to share with you another remarkable achievement in the journey of Lely Discovery: the 2000th Discovery Scraper, assembled in our factory this year! A milestone that not only reflects the success of the product but also the dedication of the team behind it.

The Discovery Scraper with or without water, has become a trusted companion on dairy farms, helping farmers maintain cleaner shed floors that can improve hoof and udder health. Designed to work safely and efficiently between cows, the Scraper has evolved through continuous innovation—from its early compass-based navigation to the introduction of water spraying for biofilm removal and app-based route programming.

Now, with over 23,000 Discovery scraper units operating globally, the 2,000th Scraper assembled this year is more than just a number—it’s a symbol of progress, perseverance, and pride.

The assembly of the 2000th unit is believed to be only the second time ever such a milestone has been reached in the production facility, making it a rare and memorable event. This milestone crowns the highest production year ever for the manure products of Lely, showcasing the immense potential we have worldwide. With this achievement, we proudly conclude the celebration of 20 years of Lely Discovery—a journey marked by innovation, growth, and unwavering commitment to dairy farming excellence.
