From 1 January 2018, Lely will include the Trioliet TU 180 XL silage cutter in its Feeding portfolio. This machine has an exceptionally high cutting capacity and is designed for even the toughest silage. Thanks to the extra 105-cm depth, the TU 180 XL is ideal for filling feed kitchens. The block contains a lot of feed and can safely be stored in the feed kitchen with no risk of dropping.

A clean barn floor results in less manure in the cubicles and cleaner hooves, tails and udders. This prevents hygiene-related claw and udder infections and promotes the healthy natural behaviour of the cows, which in turn lets you determine their fertility more efficiently. Today, there still isn’t a good solution for clearing solid barn floors. That is why Lely developed the Discovery 120 Collector: a revolutionary robot designed for solid floors that takes the manure away rather than scraping it. This not only results in a cleaner floor, but also prevents the cows from standing in manure up to their dew claws, as is the case when a manure scraper is used.

allows Lely to focus fully on agricultural robotics and data
Maassluis, 9 June 2017 – Lely´s Joint Works Council has advised on the plan announced in March of the intended sale of Lely’s Forage business and the anticipated organisational adjustments. In addition, the company and the trade unions have reached an agreement on the Social Plan. This means that the intended sale of all Forage activities – the production of forage harvesting machines – to AGCO can become effective as of 1 October 2017. After this date, Lely will continue to strengthen its leading position as an innovator in the dairy market.
