During the yearly Lely supplier day at the company’s headquarters in Maassluis, Lely presented two of their suppliers an achievement award. Over 120 (supplier) participants worked together during a meeting regarding chain cooperation and innovation on April 2nd.
Focus on customer value through improved operating efficiency and further development of the farm automation market proves successful. This week the Lely Board of Directors reported the financial results for 2014. Lely recorded significant growth of 5% with a turnover of €617 million. Growth was seen in its Dairy, Forage and After Market divisions.

Udder health is important for cow health and good milk production. The use of somatic cell count (SCC) has proven to be a highly useful insight to predict a case of mastitis. However, cows naturally tend to fluctuate on SCC which makes it hard to monitor and treat. To avoid use of medicines it is critical to treat cows at the right time.
