We support dairy farmers across Northern England with the latest robotic milking and feeding systems — helping to keep herds healthy, farms productive, and farmers supported.

 
What You’ll Do
  • Service, maintain, and install Lely robotic milking and feeding equipment on working dairy farms
  • Work directly with farmers and their livestock, diagnosing and repairing mechanical or electrical issues
  • Use laptops and diagnostic software daily to keep systems running smoothly
  • Take part in an on-call rota (with overtime pay) to support customers when needed
  • Build trusted relationships with farmers and your fellow engineers
 
About You
  • Experienced or qualified in mechanical, electrical, or service engineering
  • Comfortable around livestock and happy working outdoors in all weathers
  • A practical problem-solver who enjoys hands-on work
  • Confident using computers for diagnostics and reporting
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year | Plus overtime and on-call pay

Contract: Full-time, Permanent | Field-based across Northern England

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend availability

Work Location: In person — visiting farms across Northern England

We are looking for Service Engineers to cover the North of England across our three depots, we have openings in Cumbria (Longtown) and Leeming Bar.
