In 1996 Les Boam won Dairy Farmer of the Year Award milking pedigree Holsteins, as well as winning the Cleanest Milk in the Country Award with a SCC of 60🏆
 
After needing to sell the herd and drive wagons for the best part of a decade, Les decided it was time to go back into dairy, milking pedigree Jerseys this time instead.
 
In 2022 Les installed a Lely A5, and "I wouldn't ever go back to a parlour, the Lely Horizon app is really good - I'd be lost without it".
