As an HR Advisor within the Product Development competence (approx. 500 FTE), you’ll work closely with around 40 leads. You’ll be their first point of contact for HR-related matters and contribute to the ongoing development of the organization and its people. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the HR Business Partner for Product Development to roll out the HR agenda and support the MT, heads of departments, and leads with all personnel-related issues. The HR Advisor position is new within our HR team, and together we’ll shape its scope.

Your Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to internal departmental meetings and translate outcomes into concrete HR actions within Product Development.
  • Discuss and guide casework with leads, offering appropriate advice on various HR topics such as training/education, performance, leave, and absenteeism.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from Talent Acquisition, People Services, and the Lely Academy to optimize processes around onboarding, development, and internal mobility.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for new managers so they can quickly find their way at Lely and start successfully.
  • Safeguard the execution of the HR cycle within Product Development and support leads in this process. You’ll also work closely with the Head of to support strategic HR topics within their competence.
  • Work with the HR Business Partner on various HR projects within Product Development, where you’ll be responsible for team-level implementation and act as the point of contact for leads.

In addition to a versatile role where you make daily impact, you’ll be part of an ambitious HR team of 40+ colleagues with diverse specializations (including HR People Services, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Academy, HR Project Management, and HR Business Partners). Wat is jouw ervaring?

You’re someone who maintains oversight, is curious and resilient under pressure. You easily switch between different levels within the organization and use your communication skills to build trust. You naturally lead by example: offering constructive feedback, coaching managers and employees, and providing sound advice—even in challenging situations.

You also bring:

  • A completed HBO or WO degree in HRM or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and results-oriented attitude: you take initiative, follow through, and propose improvements.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management and strong analytical skills.
  • Availability of at least 32 hours per week and willingness to work on our Maassluis campus 3–4 days per week on average.
