IT Cloud Engineer
Wat is jouw rol?
As an IT Cloud Engineer at Lely, you are the driving force behind designing, implementing and managing scalable and secure cloud solutions. You ensure that our IT infrastructure is not only stable and future-proof, but also optimally performing and cost-efficient. You play a key role in the transition from on‑premises to cloud environments, continuously safeguarding security, performance and cost control.
In this role, you work closely with colleagues from various IT disciplines and contribute to projects that directly impact Lely’s continuity and innovation power. Do you recognize yourself in this technical and strategic role?
What will you do?
- Design and develop cloud infrastructure, applications and services based on the needs of the organization.
- Lead migration projects from on‑premises to cloud environments with minimal impact on business processes.
- Manage, optimize and maintain existing cloud environments to ensure maximum performance and reliability.
- Implement cloud security measures such as encryption and access control, and conduct periodic audits.
- Monitor performance and resources in cloud environments and optimize where necessary.
- Manage and reduce cloud costs without compromising performance or scalability.
Wat is jouw ervaring?
You have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex IT challenges into efficient solutions through your expertise in cloud engineering. You work proactively and are able to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
In addition, you bring the following:
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a comparable field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar Cloud Engineering role.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
- Experience with migration projects from on‑premises to the cloud.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates or CloudFormation.
- Experience implementing cloud security and compliance policies.
- Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- For this position, a pre-employment screening applies, consisting of a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and a background/integrity check.
