Junior Test Automation Engineer

As a Junior Test Automation Engineer, you will start in a supportive and learning-focused environment where you are guided step by step in the field of test automation. You will contribute to testing and validating our robots and software applications, while learning how quality is ensured within complex, innovative systems.
You will be part of multidisciplinary Scrum teams within Product Development and work closely with software engineers, test specialists, data analysts, and electronics engineers. We value curiosity, collaboration, and openness, and encourage you to ask questions, share ideas, and grow while contributing to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines.

Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting the testing and validation of robot functionalities based on test cases and system knowledge.
- Assisting in writing and automating test scenarios, for example using Cucumber/Gherkin.
- Helping to build and maintain test automation solutions and related infrastructure.
- Analyzing test results and learning how to communicate findings clearly to the team.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the quality of new features and software applications.
- Actively contributing to improvements in test processes and to your own professional development.
Wat is jouw ervaring?
You are at the start of your career or have taken your first professional steps and are eager to further develop yourself in test automation and software quality. You feel comfortable in an environment where learning, experimenting, and collaboration are central. If you recognize yourself in (most of) the points below, we warmly encourage you to apply:
- A completed or nearly completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Informatics, or a comparable discipline.
- Interest in software quality, testing, and test automation, for example through internships, projects, or initial work experience.
- Basic programming experience, preferably in Python; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Affinity with Agile/Scrum ways of working and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
- Curiosity and motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Openness to feedback and willingness to ask questions and seek support when needed.
- Good command of the English language; Dutch is a plus or willingness to learn.
