Sign up for the Lely Hackathon 2025, a day full of real challenges, a tour de boer (farm tour), and working with real Lely data. Discover how you, as an aspiring data specialist, can make a difference for the farm of the future. We’re hosting the event at our farm in Schipluiden, fun, inspiring, and hands-on. No need to worry about getting there: we’ll arrange transport from Delft Central Station. Lunch? Sorted. Drinks afterwards? Absolutely. And the best part: participation is completely free. All you need to bring is your laptop and your skills.

Are you ready to dive into the world of agricultural innovation and work with Lely data? During this hackathon, you’ll team up to tackle a challenging data case: exploring datasets, translating stakeholder questions into smart analyses, building data pipelines, and presenting your results in a clear and impactful way.
What will you do?
In a mixed team of data engineers and data analysts, you will work hands-on with Lely data. Some tasks can be tackled independently, but for others, collaboration is key. Together, you’ll get the most out of the data and create solutions that make an impact.
Wat is jouw ervaring?
For Data Engineers
Do you enjoy working with data and making an impact? If you have basic Python skills, have heard of SQL, and get energy from working with data, this hackathon is for you. You’ll work with Databricks, transform raw data into structured insights, build pipelines, and support data analysts in answering stakeholder questions.
For Data Analysts
Do you love turning data into actionable insights? With basic SQL skills, a bit of Python knowledge, and a curious mindset, you’ll analyze complex datasets, discover patterns, and translate them into strategic recommendations. You’ll work closely with data engineers to ensure your analyses are built on robust pipelines contributing to real agricultural solutions.
