Manager Farm Management Support

What is your role?
Do you want to play a key role in strengthening the functional use of our feeding systems worldwide? As Manager FMS Feeding you are responsible for the development, professionalization and execution of Farm Management Support (FMS) within the Feeding domain. You guide how dairy farmers, advisers and Lely Centers optimally use our Feeding products for sustainable, efficient and profitable feeding.
You lead the FMS Feeding team, where knowledge of nutrition, data, adoption, training and system usage comes together. In the coming years the continued professionalization of FMS Feeding will be central. You bring structure, direction and energy to a domain that is evolving rapidly due to developments in automation, data-driven feeding and new product introductions.
Your main responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the FMS Feeding team, with a focus on competency development, structure and collaboration.
- Further developing and safeguarding processes, tools and standards for Feeding within the global FMS organization.
- Working together with the other FMS Managers, the Manager TSS and the Head of Field Support on the strategic development of FMS and the Business Team Feeding.
- Maintaining relationships with international FMS teams and Lely Centers, translating their insights into further development of Feeding support.
- Initiating and directing complex projects that contribute to adoption, optimization and successful deployment of Feeding solutions.
- Acting as a sparring partner for product teams and stakeholders on a tactical and strategic level.
- Occasional travel is part of the role.
What is your experience?
You are a coaching leader who enables teams to excel and who easily switches between strategy and practice. You have affinity with the agricultural sector and understand how technology, data and management advice come together on a dairy farm. You bring structure, set clear priorities and navigate smoothly in an international environment.
In addition, you bring:
- A completed university degree or equivalent level.
- At least 3 years of work experience as a manager or in a comparable role.
- Experience with or strong affinity for the agricultural sector, preferably dairy farming.
- Project and process management experience, including bringing structure to content-driven teams.
- Connecting qualities and the ability to build relationships with both field teams and management.
- Excellent command of the English language, other languages are welcome.
